How to maximize Feng Shui at home.

We hope that you are all staying safe and healthy during this dreadful time and that this pandemic is not causing much distress for you and your loved ones. We have been flooded with emails and calls asking for advice on how to maximize Feng Shui at home.

With the widespread of Coronavirus across the world, more and more people are feeling anxious. Besides washing our hands often and following our governments advice, what else can we do to stay healthy?

This is a brief post to share some insights for you to protect yourself and your loved ones from the negative health influence from the Feng Shui point of view.

On classic Feng Shui we depart from the Lo Shu grid is a 3 X 3 magic square in which the sum of the three numbers add up to 15 - row wise, column wise and diagonally. This is an antique Chinese grid that shows man’s interaction with the universe and the five elements: Earth, Water, Fire, Wood and Metal.

In 2020, Star 7 comes to the Centre of the Universe and every building /home. In the classical Bagua version of Feng Shui star 7 (the broken soldier) represent red metal, younger daughter, wind, mouth and lungs. The 7 star is a violent star and in feng shui terms, it brings the broken soldier, covered in blood from injuries inflicted with a metal weapon. The 7 itself is a metal number and in the flying star, it is known as the Red Star. 7 is the violent star associated with violent behavior and burglary. When activated it can turn brutal and become very dangerous. The deeper we proceed into the Period of 8 (Feb. 5th, 2004 - Feb. 4th, 2024), the more dangerous the number 7 star becomes. The star 7 also rules the mouth and lungs. As we know today coronavirus is spread by droplets from coughing and sneezing and quickly moves to the lungs.

According to Feng Shui belief, there are several factors that influences our luck. Here’s what they are, ranked in order from the most influential to the least:

Heaven Luck:  it describes the pre-determined events that are completely beyond our control. Karma, you have absolutely no control over where, when, and which family you were born into.

Man Luck: It determines how the events of your life develop. There will be periods of time where luck is great  and the events happening around you are for your benefit. Other times, you may experience events that may give you persistent anxieties, but we are in control of this luck by our actions.

Earth Luck: The feng shui of the house impacts the mental and physical health of you and your family. A home with good feng shui reduces stress and builds your spirit, reducing worries and anxieties. Feng shui can balance your luck but has not major influence in your Heaven luck.

How can we manage star # 7 in the center area of our home?

Water is the element that can reduce the strength of #7. One of the ancient cures is to set in this area a white glass vase with Yin clean water and 3 healthy bamboo sticks. Colors have a minor energies impact in Feng Shui  but blue color in this area may help too. One of the newest cures are blue rhinoceros and elephant symbolically strong and protective animals that could stall any other fierce animals. They are therefore being regarded as the amazing animals to deal with violence star#7 and all forms of threats or violence.

The south is the corner where the sickness black star 2 is in 2020. Fire, the element that represent the South. feeding the black earth illness star 2. In the same direction, we have not only the annual # 2 but we also have the Three Killings and Sui Po which can bring illness to all occupants, especially middle daughter and females in general although this will still affect all males .

To reduce negative energies of 2, first keep red colors away from here, avoid using candles and triangular figures, adding metal objects such as Garuda Vu Lou , saltwater cure, wind chimes or a pendulum clock help drain the illness energy of the 2 star.

This year, the 5 Yellow Disaster Star falls in the East. This is a sign for potential sickness , lawsuits, and casualties. The 5 Yellow Star is an earth element. The East is the home of the 3 wood Star, which is related to gossip, illness and robbery. Wood dominates Earth, so the East is not an auspicious area. It is prudent to avoid spending a lot of time, red colors, candles or bright lights in this area. Metal objects such as Vu Lou, saltwater cure, grandfather clock or metal Pagoda are very helpful.

Feng shui does not perform miracles, nor does it work like magic. There is not supernatural “cure” in Feng Shui that can protect us. It can help us, but we must do our part.

Wishing you all safety and health during this difficult time ,
